What We Do
There are some things that you may have neither the resources or the time to do, but that would really help you to improve your own service delivery. We can help!
Here are some of the ‘value-added’ services we offer:

Loans
The CLC has an extensive range of hardware available for schools to borrow.
The normal loan period is 3 weeks, but in some circumstances, this can be exended.We are unable to loan software to schools for copyright reasons. However, we can install software onto CLC owned laptops and loan these to schools.

School Visits
As well as a variety of CPD opportunities offered to teachers delivered at the CLC, we are also able to offer its facilities for schools to visit.
School can either use the CLC facilities independently, with technical support on hand, or can have the assistance of one of the CLC teaching staff.
The latter approach has proven very useful to some schools who have seen it as not only giving the pupils an exciting and curriculum relevant day out, but also as worthwhile Inset for teachers.

Room bookings
We offer competitive rates for conference and meeting facilities. Costs are as follows:
Room hire charges:
Full Day – £200
Half Day – £125
Hourly Rate – £50 per hour (not available until after 3.30pm)Catering charges:
Buffet and refreshments for a full day – £12.50 per head
Tea and coffee for a full day – £3.00 per head
Tea and coffee (1 only) – £1.00 per headTutors are available at the same rates as room hire.

Conversion
Conversion of analogue audio and video to digital format. Services include:
Audio Cassette to WAV, MP3 or CD
Vinyl records to WAV, MP3 or CD
VHS video to MP4, AVI, WMV or DVDUnfortunately we are not able to reproduce copyright material without permission from the owner of the content. Please contact us for more information about this service.

Large Format Printing
We are able to offer a printing and laminating service of documents (i.e. posters and banners) up to 42” x 60” in size. Costs are as follows:
A2 - Printing £5 per copy, Laminating £1.50 per copy, combined service £6 per copy.
A1 - Printing £10 per copy, Laminating £2.50 per copy, combined service £12 per copy.
A0 - Printing £17.50 per copy, Laminating £5.00 per copy, combined service £20 per copy.
42” x 60” – Printing £20 per copy, Laminating £10 per copy, combined service £25 per copy.
Items for printing should be provided ready formatted to the correct size if possible, or as a Microsoft Powerpoint slide, and e-mailed to technical@hullclc.com.
Items submitted for printing will be ready for collection within 48 hours, and invoiced within 7 days.

CD/DVD Duplication
We are able to offer competitive rates for duplication of CDs and DVDs. These can be printed with a design of your choice for an additional fee. Please contact us for a quote.
