Magic Planet
A revolutionary teaching tool for Geography

The “Magic Planet” is a revolutionary teaching tool for Geography. It is is a virtual globe which allows pupils to view a rotating image of the earth’s surface. The globe can be programmed to display the path of the past year’s hurricanes, show carbon emissions from countries across the world and, at the touch of a button, drain the water from the planet’s oceans to show tectonic plate activity.

Excellent piece of kit. I used this with my year 1 class and it really brought the lesson to life. As well as various earth and planet based modes, the planet also has many more creative and fun applications such as a giant eyeball and fish tank which the children loved.

WOW!! This piece of equipment is amazing.
This children absolutely loved it.
It was adaptable from foundation to year 6.
Foundation children sang songs about the sun.
We borrowed it for National Science Week.
For the children to actually see the planets was a massive learning opportunity. (science Coordinator)
Also the technical support was outstanding.
