The New CLAiT 2006 qualification aims to provide a nationally recognised standard in IT. It is designed to fit the needs of the learner, employer and training provider.

Candidates are required to achieve three units, the mandatory unit plus two additional units.

- File Management and Word Processing (Core Unit)
- Spreadsheets and Graphs
- Database
- Desk Top Publishing
- PowerPoint
- Web Page Design
Diploma is available by gaining 5 units in total.
